The Spoons Luxury Self Catering is a home from home of understated luxury, where you can settle in before you venture out. The Spoons is centrally located on Skye, and it's actually a shorter drive from there to many sights you'll want to visit. Our group LOVED Isle of Skye and the Spoons helped to make it a perfect place to visit. It is a truly luxury B&B which stands up to competition anywhere you may have stayed and certainly the best on Skye. Since we'd never been to the Isle of Skye before, I was a bit worried before our trip that maybe we should of booked a place in the town of Portree so we could have easier access to all that is there. One day we'll be back and definitely stay here again. Vintage collectible silver plated souvenir spoon is from the ISLE OF SKYE which is an ISLAND in the INNER HEBRIDES of SCOTLAND. There is nothing within walking distance, but Edinbane is only a 10min drive and has a nice restaurant. The Spoons was located only 15-20mins from Portree, and is quite central for visiting much of Skye.
Please see picture for a better description of the item. That worry vanished very quickly. Any polishing of the spoon will be left to the new owner. It is the only hotel on Skye with its golf course - a nine-hole 18 tee shoreline challenge. The price was very reasonable and we received so much love and comfort in a spectacular setting. Named after the location's heritage, Fisher's Rock is where the old fishing community once lived. It did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations. Inside the small whitewashed croft, you enter into a snug, open-plan dining room and sitting area, where you can hole up for the evening by the wood-burning stove and watch the rain lash down outside.
